One Piece has suffered alot since the timeskip from this and I don´t know if peoples standards have fallen or why we rate chapters like this where nothing happens a 5/5.Īre these for those guys on the same level as Luffy Punching a Celestial Dragon. There are chapters that elevate everything around them because their payoff is above what 5/5 would entail, making all the buildup worth it.īut there´s also the opposite of this which is great chapters that promise alot and then lead into abrupt cutoffs devalueing their introductions.
I haven´t been impressed with a One Piece chapter since the introduction of Wano and even that was only a 4/5 because of Zorro and the novelty of introducing Wano.
